I'm stupid and reread this chapter and it makes me even madder than the first time! Great writing cause it pulls out the emotions something fierce! I'm so mad at all of them blaming Ian for what happened. he is trying to communicate, he was trying to talk with her about it before she left, before she got drunk, before she went somewhere unsafe, when she couldn't deal with her own emotions, which is normal, instead of talking with him about it and resolving their issues she runs away, something bad happens to her that's her own fault, and yet everyone is blaming him. it's still makes me so mad that they are blaming him for everything when she has just as much blame as he does, if not more and the fact that they ignore the fact that he chased her and saved her. of course what happened to her is awful and of course no one wants anything like that to happen to anyone especially someone you love and care about, and they are all angry and since they don't want Nicole to have a worse night they're venting all of their anger on Ian, who is just as much of a victim of this circumstance she is, if not more because she's the one who ran off
all of the girls are overreacting, for good reason obviously, but they're neglecting the fact that he saved her and found her after she ran off and put herself in a position for that to happen. that is her fault that it happened like that. it is their fault that they don't know how to talk through and discuss their conflict, emotions, issues, except for the handle them in the worst possible way which they did. but they need to remember that he chased after her found her and saved her.
So for them it's a fault not to have an army of bodyguards following your girlfriend h24? Especially as they all have their own service of guards normally. Plus Ian ISN'T one of the prince's so even if he did react quicker he wouldn't have the means to. I'm more surprised by the guys reaction than the girls, as they should know it while not being as much involved emotionally as the girls. (I'm not saying they should be insensible either!) Just, for me the only reaction I could accept is Cedric's. Why are the boys resenting Ian instead of the actual perpetrator, Lucas?
Nic is spoiled and stubborn and she has always gotten by with it. If it works for her, why would she change? Kat should never have taken the girls there, and should take the responsibility of introducing Nic and the others to a potentially dangerous place. From what I read, NONE of the girls take responsibility for their own stupid actions.
