Quick thought: Does the world even know about Crobat as an evolution for Golbat in the current timeline? Also what timeline is the MC in anyway?

I think Alex should get a cute litwick, idk it just seems like a chandelier and golbat duo would be rather fearsome. Extra points because ghost pokemon can add a lot of personality to the story. Not that it's lacking mind you. Great chapter tho

This fight is really good, but the build up could have some improvements like highlighting how golbat could not defeat arbok under normal conditions or something.

He needs a lot more versatility move wise for crobat now In sun and moon they learned a lot of Good moves and mow in SwSh they learn a fEw more, some you wouldnt think of Best to start off woth ominous wind and tWister i think, then gIga drain and posion type moves then flying moves then dark moves. it also learnS cross posion on evo, and there are many moves it can learn, making it formidible. the dex says they are extremely stealthy fliers, making them good for assAssination type moves and strats, plus they are very fast (base speed 130) woth good attack (90). after that their stats are average, sp attack bEing the worst at 75 woth the rest at either 80 or 85. food for thought
