I realised, contrary to Lizzy's expectations, MoLi isn't defending Yue, or Yue never does that unless its a Task or money earning job, bcz they are not the "Leads". Rather, the soon to be villains. So unlike the usually cliched romances we read, where the couple saves each other out of goodwill or some deep hidden care,,, these 2.. just dont give a d.mn about anybody except themselves unless needed.

tbh, I like this chapter but this isn't what I came for. the saving villain has been built up so much that I can't wait for it. that's why we need mooooooaaaaaarr chapters

I kinda hope the FL bleeds from like a cut on her feet puts it into the water end the fish swim as quickly as they could towards her. Then ML can act like he is super concerned for her telling her she needS to clean her wound thoughly while he grabs the fish and sticks them in a pail. 🙏😇🤣
