I can't even start to guess what kind of deal Lu Jin brought to Zhi and Linfeng that shocked and overwhelmed them both. Poor Zhi. I understand why she feels that way knowing how the man who tortured and inflicted her so much pain dıed so easily but I do hope her nightmares will now slowly disappear... Although Zhi's suffering differed from the way Gunan suffered, but still, he was indeed tortured in that before he breath his last, he was tormented by knowing that the father he looked up to easily discarded and replaced him like a used rag. It's just that what bothered me most was the length of Gunan's suffering was waaay too short hahaha! Let me just clarify that although the young Gunan does deserve my sympathy but that doesn't extend to the adult one. His sobbing backstory doesn't erase all the dirty deeds that he did coz afterall, Ming Zhi Yi didn't put a gun on his head when he was doing all those deplorable things. So yes, I pity what he went through but it's impossible to forgive how very twisted and hateful the adult Gunan turned out to be.
