The writing is simply quite well written! Quite smooth and clear and I have no complaints :) The emphasis on his glass skin seems a bit too much for my liking but it did have me wondering, if he was that clear skin, boys bullying him is understandable (fragile masculinity) but no girls chasing after him? Man, this momma would hunt him down on my own xD *cough*
