the mc deserved to die for being so stupid, after almost dying after fighting too many he still pulls too many enemies. It would make more sense to ambush small groups of enemies. The whole part with Ellie is cringe, his way of talking and acting is stupid and feels strange, why not both hunt a bit and get to know each other? This just feels forced and unnatural.
