IDK why MC still hung up on Li Fen. why isn't he moving on with his new life? he didn't even propose to her when he was alive. Ok, let's say after his death he became more resolute to live with her. Moreover, MC planning to revive her soul from the netherworld after he became a god? really bruh? But what about her? She didn't say she loves him. After MC's death, She might've loved and lived with another person till the end of her life. So MC won't even consider her feelings? Just drag her soul, create a new body and forcing her to become his lover? this is pure selfishness.

These comments speak of truth. There really is no point for him to go to the Netherworld and retrieve her soul just live a life with her. It is stupid and unethical. It is just better if he found someone else in the new world.

anyone else hat the mc's name? it doesn't roll off the tongue and is really distracting to read every other paragraph. read a lot of chinese novels and this is the most annoying name I've come across.

You all are right about everything, but you're forgetting that he was JUST reincarnated. Emotions take time to pass, it will take him time to move on. It's normal. Also this soul contract is actually favoring him heavily. All he has to do is beat an Emperor, in return he's being taught to Cultivate by a Saint, who is also bound to help him achieve God, which only 4 others have ever done. That could take awhile and require lots of resources. Unless Phoenix knows a loophole to get out of it, the deal is actually worse for him than it is for MC.
