The logic regarding power being fueled by bloodliners seems fine but cause and effect seems to be not so solid The original ability dying out cause of lack of source is understandable but suppose a fire ability burns a tree, the fire that is fueled by a user disappearing is fine but what about the fire being fueled by burning of wood itself. I am thinking in terms of the ability being a catalyst in this case at least. Anyway good story, keep up the great work!
What I understand of abilities that are getting confused on some. Example: Fire created by a splash effect of a fireball isn’t normal fire but still relies on elemental energy thus disappearing when the ability ends or the user stops supplying it depending on how it works. It is getting confused that a fireball can create normal fire that doesn’t rely on elemental energy to sustain itself. It was saying if that happened ability users would be more dangerous since even low leveled ones could cause massive destruction relying on that. This way elements like fire don’t get advantages that are a little op since it would mean the users don’t have to use as much energy as the rest. Author explains it well in some paragraph comments.
