DamnPlotArmor
Also Ma Moxi is the most vulnerable and will have the least repercussions from killing. To kill Liu Bian requires Cao Mao to sneak into the imperial palace and kill the guy and if he is found out then he is ****ed. Ma Moxi is seen as trash so he will have no guards and even if he dies as long as Cao Mao isn't seen no one will really care about his death and may even be happy about it. Plus Ma Moxi's cheats will actually be helpful when it comes down to dealing with Liu Bian if he can get everything including the hitman experience and escape technique.
Don't forget to increase Cao Mao's combat experience more. He doesn't have beast clones yet, and he only had one deadly battle so far. If he is going to take on protagonists who can jump in deadliness in days, he needs to temper himself more in the future. Oh yeah, I forgot to praise your choose of using the [Shadow] element instead of the [Death] element for cultivating undead. The latter even specializes in concealment and espionage, do I can only think of DamnPlotArmor-sama as being very ingenious for such an idea
Plot advice (author may already consider this) : Become friends with Ma moxi by helping him in proving his worth in his family this may take 6 months or less. Also prevent his harem member from recognizing him. Pull some strings on the war between demons and human, forcing Liu bian to show his necromancy to world. Use the necromancer card to make Moxi side with you. The war may take 3 years to occur depends on author wish. While they fight each other in final show kill them both while they are weaken. (Note the time factor are taken from other novels and common sense)
On another note, I am still hoping he gets one or a chain of side quest(s) related to saving the dryads and their sub-dimension. I have to admit that I am influenced by Ning Shu of Quick Transmigration novels. After all, she did steal the subspace that was the legacy of an expert and was meant for the protagonist. Instead of keeping it for herself, she used her system to return the dying sub-dimension back to the Ordinance Sea (AKA a primordial "sea" of countless dimensions). She was able to reap a lot of benefits a few arcs later. Anyways, she really impressed me by giving up immediate and foreseeable benefits because of her morals. Even if Cao Mao had different reasons, I want to see him gain similar profits in the future.
Thanks for the chapter!!! I never expected to see the Gold Element here. lol. With its strong energy deflection, the hitman will be hard to kill if he has sniper experience. Oh, I am not sure whether this helps, but some other factors for evaluating others could include Constitution, Innate Talent, Intelligence, Willpower, and Luck. I doubt the any protagonist will have abysmal values in any category, but in the future, those values will help determine what kind of cultivator and life that the person might develop towards. The System also won't have to give too much details on how to takedown targets. As for CJ, I was honestly left speechless, since the signs were clearly there. Now, we know why Cao Mao was so quickly noticed by Yuan Hua, and we also know why CJ knew that there was a historical Yuan Hua and a fictional/new Yuan Hua (who had a differences with the original). I didn't think he was either blessed by or the vessel of this fictional Yuan Hua...... despite supposedly being do untalented in Alchemy that he is part of the outer sect....... He probably lied about his talents or position...Still, I respect his enthusiasm in guns. After all, with the nature of Xianxia, I picture how hard it is to create strong firearms, the troubles of cost to performance ratio, and the difficulty in kill the exaggerated monsters in his new world... He is crazy, but he has my respect in that regard. I wish him luck. He might convince Cao Mao to test out his dangerous products
