DamnPlotArmor
Author, I'm not sure if gacha system was good idea. It will feel too forced no matter what the result is. You could even say plot armors of main characters and moods of *gods* would affect it way too much. Option to sacrifice energy instead wouldn't be good as well, idk. Seems like u walked onto a grassland only to realize u are standing on a landmine
Thanks for the chapter!!! I still stand by the choice of not throwing all those sword styles and sword techniques together. In fact, the restrictions of the system are practically hinting not to do so. Instead of mixing everything and hoping for the best, it would just be wiser to make combination that have a high chance of specializing in certain fields. For example, instead of randomizing things and only aiming for techniques, he could have fused [Stripper Swordsmanship] with [Body Cleansing] and a water type mystic art or mystic technique to create [Illusive Rain Sword Art] (or something) which specializes in breaking down defenses and performing hard-to-see attacks, and he could have fused [Dragon Saber style] with [Blood Extraction] and [Yaksha Swordsmanship] to create [Blood Wine Ordinance Saber Art] which specializes in draining blood to create demonic flames......At the least, unless you use Fairy Tail logic, I don't think a Saber style that relies on Dragon Flames will easily become a proper Sword art for killing its origin. Well, in any case, it is smarter to create Sword Arts by portioning the skill sets and not by throwing everything into one. In this way, he can test out the sword arts first before deciding to use the system to change them completely or further improving them in their current direction. At the same time, he can more easily determine/choose the direction of the fusions if he use components that specialize in certain categories. ...... Because of this logic, I am Against all the choices. It is too wasteful and I predictable. He will suffer more rather than make any gains. Heck, if he wants to make an all out fusion, he should have searched among all those unnamed manuals he has collected and see whether he can create a ***-theme mystic art........ assuming that the system doesn't give his 10th Tutorial Quest Reward and a powerful mystic art itself
If I were him I'd want the illusive stripper sword art, followed by the two surrounding it. Dragon Slayer swordsmanship sounds powerful but it would be specialized in slaying dragons, making it the least useful, as for the last one it is probably more defense based swordsmanship, not that there is something wrong with that but you can't really kill someone as easily if you are focusing on defense.
Btw, author-sama has forgotten Moon Meridian Scripture, meant to put "Chloro Heart Tattoo" instead of "Chloro Resistance," and maybe forgotten the VY and JY cultivation techniques in the list of skills......At the same, did the System not recognize Cao Mao's efforts to create a new sword style? Is it just that strict in its assessments, or does it disregard anything that does not rely on the power of Qi in its foundations? After all, it is kind of disheartening that Cao Mao might not finish the sword style he was personally working on. As long as he comprehended 2 elements and created new kata, he could have transformed into a potential powerhouse in the future.....if nothing goes wrong
