Yeah I was expecting 2 chapters today as the previous chapter was partially written before hand. Other than that this is great, he stole Xie Tian's plot armor. Plus Vampire Touch is a lot more OP than it first seemed. Finally I wonder what he will do with the Fire Dragon Saber. KQ could use it to strengthen themselves pretty well, but if they could tame it it would be a good weapon for one of his Yin Slaves(like maybe Kang Yan).
Oh yeah, I am wondering this now: After finishing his 9th or 10th Tutorial Quest, will the System give Cao Mao a Mystic Art tailored for him? Like in certain system novels, the system gave the MCs a high very quality mystic art based on their needs or preferences. Well, of course, the theme and elements of the mystic art(s) matched the theme/purpose of the system, but it is still interesting. The MCs had to treat the mystic art(s) as their main ones and then work on comprehending the first layers/volume on their own. However, by using a bit of the Carrot and Stick strategy, the system forces them to complete the objectives in order to synthesize or get rewarded with the next parts of the mystic arts. lol
Thanks for the chapter!!! I see that he is one of the few who can see fragments of Heaven's Will when a protagonist dies, but I never expected for him to actually absorb it so simply. I thought there would be backlash and am honestly surprised. Heck, I thought he might have to copy Lin Fan and use his Alchemy to refine it. lol. However, with that trouble out of the way, Cao Mao can finally loot the treasures and secrets of Xie Tian. If he is smart at all, he would also take the corpse just in case (and so that he can cultivate and refine his corpse into a few drops of much higher quality Dragon Blood Essence in the future.) Not going to lie though, I am saddened that he didn't get a sudden/minor enlightenment into comprehending [Nature's Heart] and finally upgrading his newly created and incomplete sword style into an external type Sword Art. However, Cao Mao has only just now felt Wood Qi and would probably need time to comprehend anything about elemental Qi, so I can understand why he will need some time to review the gains and comprehensions acquired from this battle. I just so impatient to see Cao Mao comprehend various types of Qi before he finishes the 9th Tutorial Quest and then gets the chance to breakthrough into the next Realm.
