The existential dilema highlighted in this chapter is interesting, and it’s even more interesting how Miracle doesn’t even acknowledge the possibility of such a dilemma. It hints at their character and how they might act in the future.

While Eldrian does have a case since not even Miracle understand that world but he comes off like an emotional psychotic child. Granted he gone through serious trauma in the game but alot of it is due to his own recklessness and constantly diving with few breaks.

Well, he says they are real and such. But how can he explain the fact that the whole of ANW was Frozen for like a week or something for a PLAYER TOURNAMENT. Like Seriously, he should know such a simple fact but why does he ignore it so much? And why dont the employees use that as an explanation for why the game people are actually just extremely realistic creations. Sure, they exist and they can think for themselves. But why can their whole world be sped up by 1000s of years to pass in a second? Why can it all be stopped if they are real? Sure, there exist those T10 guys who sensed them be Frozen in time, but he doesnt know that.(i think?) He is definitively in a drug like state of addiction to a New reality and realm of life, but now i forgot where i was going with this text so i might aswell post it lel

Honestly. while he is right. i doubt he's able to make people listen while he's shouting. But when you put it out there. what's the difference between them and you? they're digital? how can we know we aren't digital just as they don't know that they are. we aren't even sure if souls and magic aren't totally imaginary outside. just maybe weak and such. As long as you don't risk your own life permanently i'd say 100% go protect them with all you have. Altho i doubt some of them are going to stay quiet about that and insist on being there.

The plot is thickening, my guess is that Eldrian will meet the Flaming soul, and maybe use the stuff he know about soul to temporary appease the couple of their torture ( and maybe gain a powerful surbordinate, who know ? (The author...)) Or maybe it’s just the born of a Candidate of the ennemie camp...
