I tried, I really did. The style of writing is great, it reads like a traditional cultivation\adventure novel. Starting weak, slow but steady progress, there dangers but not over the top that came out of nowhere, they are able through effort overcome, they are strong but not world breaking...yet. My opinion is that the more I can relate to the MC the more I will like the novel. Minor plot armor\holes can be ignored if the MC is relatable, likeable, competent and has common sense. He doesn't need to be god gift to the world nor cunning enough to be Satan. Unfortunately I cannot get into the two MCs, other than relating to two different characters with different personalities is very hard, close to impossible, I always feel it's a waste. Most readers...many\some readers, tend to like one MC and barely tolerate the other or even hate it which makes the novel suffer from both sides, seems like a bad move for the novel on the whole. In this case, rather than have one MC I like this two have some aspects I like and at the same time both have more than a few aspects I very much do not like which makes this over all, for me, not a good novel to read since not liking the MC is the worst thing when reading a novel. Good luck. If you ever write a similar novel with only one MC I hope to read it.
I'm loving this novel I just have one small complain so small that it's not worth it to call it a complain but the author is reporting the same info twice and I don't mean in the novel itself but at the end there's the extra chapter deal info twice, but that being said since I haven't caught up yet maybe that has already change so for not the most important thing for me to say is that this is and absolute joy to read
