Someone help me understand this chapter š Sam Was married to Lucy long before Mad showed up. Im going to go back and Read again. I completely missed something š
MiniMinx:He didn't marry Lucy because of Maddie. Based on what he said he aligned himself with the royal family because if there was any emergence of dark angels, then that info would be known to them (as the rulers) before anybody else got wind of it. So by marrying Lucy, he secured a job as a minister to be privy to such info, should it arise.

I knew her battered relatives were just trying to use her to get back their powers!!! š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬ And I was always suspicious of how Samuel acted when he first met Maddie, BUT I did not see this twist with him at all!!! š±š±š± I just thought he was another depraved relative planning to try to use her against Calhoun for thethrone.š³š³š³
