Actually, dick move. But understandable. If you are a newly crowned king or emperor, first thing to do is kick the off the old advisors. People need time to realise they can't fuc k with you. So the previous regime and people with power should be kicked off. This happens in modern world too. You don't keep the financial head or officer after you buy a company.
This isnt something Yamamoto would do. Giving up division 8 Which is the strongest force would hinder the soul Society, which yamato would never want. he would kill the entirety of the gotei 13 if it means protecting the soul society, so losing its biggest combat force over some nobles is very unlike him. Not to mention its just after losing many captains, yeah this is kinda bs to further your plot. just voicing my view on it, i still enjoy the story.
Yamamoto had said that the MC was important because he could become the one to replace him and that he has a lot of potential but now he is practically making the MC his enemy and everything to support the nobles and even if he says that it is because they are going to attack the eighth division and wants to avoid that is sending to shit all the work of the MC
Although I agree that its stupid, exiling the members of 8th division to Hueco Mundo is something that should be expected...I guess. 8th division, specifically Ren, is just too wild of a variable to contain. But sending the 8th division to Hueco Mundo is just strengthening them, making the entire division much more powerful than it already has. I'm sure that if the reason for their exile is political, those that have the power to make that decision have considered it. Which begs the question, why? Then again, the author probably just did it for future-plot-ruining purposes. If the 8th division is in Hueco Mundo, I wonder if Aizen would still escape to Hueco Mundo when the story starts.
