i dont understand why he is wasting his time in hogwarts though. we all know he isn't going to learn jack there. hire some tutors and get a proper education and more specialised one than he gets at hogwarts. leaving britain to study somewhere else would be even better as there aren't as many restrictions concerning magic branches as in say america. and his two friends at school that are more hindrance than help are no compelling argument to stay for every human being with half a brain.
So I've caught up to the latest (at the time of posting this comment) and here are my views of the story so far: (Critique first): You need to spend a bit more time on editing/proof reading your work. I saw numerous mistakes. Grammatically, you're pretty good, but I so many, many cases of wrong words being used and/or missing words in a sentence. However, plot wise, I'm all for powerful Harry and I'm looking forward to all of the 'le bashing' of characters that I am sure is coming. Overall, 8/10 so far. So please, pleaaaaase keep up the good work! I know Editing/Proof reading is a real b@stard and is often tedious, but it's important to keep readers engaged throughout the story. Reading lines like: "And then Harr whipped out his and casted a spell." Is rather immersive breaking and it seriously effects the reading experience.
I have read countless stories Like that. which is why im getting bored of IT. I love hp fanfics but dark dumbles is Nothing new. hogwarts simply presents absolutely subpar education for prime coin. j.k. rowling left the hp world completely undeveloped outside of britain almost Nothing is known. that leaves a fanfics author a lot of freedom to have his mc undergo rituals, bloodmagic and whatever else falls under dark magic in britain(everything thats dangerous or can make you powerful). by attending hogwarts you enter a very predictable storyline with few alterations. afterall certain events need to happen to keep dumbles off you back. then there are mind altering potions and legilimancy to deal with and no easy way to learn occlumency. this is getting too long I will cut IT of here. but thats just a few things he will have to deal with in britain
