if you have regained your enthusiasm for writing, why start a boring rewrite, simply start writing again, most women have already had time to finish your story and writing is of no use to us moving forward, you rewrite afterwards

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with the way it was going

is he a legendary super Saiyan like broly or a regular super Saiyan with evil elements.

The beginning wasn't as you want but personally the story is good Author.... just continue, u can show the mc and other characters development in the Continuous chapter

How about instead of an Evil Saiyan you just make him a Ancient or Legendary Super Saiyan, Maybe make him more independent earlier on, maybe more straight forward instead of as scheming too. A lot of it was great but, it kind of started going flat around his imprisonment and the after the breakout the brainwashing and possible selling of them afterwards felt like a waste.
