author I found some nice info I thought you might want to know, the demon form is transformed based of your summon so basically, he would have a deafult demon dragon form, so the fusion should be more smooth to get use to, and also it should be stronger then the original wolf demon form I think

Why not both? Have him get stuck with his girlfriend, it will give you the opportunity to really develop their relationship, give him a good reason to try and get stronger (not just because). Personally I would prefer magic realism or cultivation world (ie semi real and not anime).

Definitely go with his girlfriend and also you should make her strong as well so she can be able to hold her own in other dimensions with Itachi and they can travel together as well. In the original she already has a lot of talent and this should translate to other power systems in other worlds as well.
