Does it have an impact of his actual sword skills, like in irl without the system, like when Kirito sparred with his sister in kendo when he was malnourished still showed impressive sword skills. I think there is a big difference in the skills of the game and actual swordsmanship
Communist mc 😂
Yea if you have a lot of biological knowledge with magic to the point of cell manipulation you can do a lot of experiments and immortality may be feasible in this world. As for the cancer cells I'm not that knowledgeable on the subject but there are a lot of articles that talk about the relationship of short telomeres and cancer cells
Yes he is sticking up for class C here and it's in benefit of class C but the main point is how Light uses this situation to further establish his righteous persona, if Light can act like this even when he clearly knows what's happening, who are we to know that what Light's previous behavior is also an act? Perhaps a true righteous hearted Light but also a pragmatic one as you described here would still act for the class in the end but I don't think he would say hypocritical words but would still be there to counter and provide evidence in support of the class. Of course I could also be looking too deep into it, since we already know Light's true character we can find discrepancies but for the characters in the book, probably only the most intelligent would have a slight suspicion. However if Light keeps making these very tiny errors the truly intelligent characters in the book would probably be able to piece his behavior to the point where it's too unlikely to be a coincidence.
Yea feel free to delete it, I think it could be cool to see it incorporated in the future, Light isn't perfect and he can still slip up like this and he will have to learn that not everything will go his way
I like this, a lot of fics fall into the pit of the main characters automatically assuming with full confidence of the world they are in with limited information. This small detail gives me a lot of hope for this book
I guess trying to bring science into a magic world has a lot of issues but every cell has a telomere and every time a cell is divided it becomes shorter and the structural integrity becomes weaker. Healing works by dividing cells to replace the old with the new but the more this happens the shorter the telomere. I'm kinda a layman with this topic but generally there is a correlation with aging and shorter telomere. In wolverine case it's probably not too bad since he only heals when he needs to. Your cells always divide by themselves constantly and you may have heard of the fact that your body replaced itself every 7-15 years by cell division. The point of sorry is his use of healing magic where it is stated to function based on cell division by the fic. This is fine if used normally but he said he wanted to use it everyday to heal his body to improve his body by breaking it and healing it everyday. Constantly dividing his cells overtime will definitely shorten his lifespan if he does this everyday. (He's basically speed running the lifespan of his cells and consequently his lifespan) Unless you want to change the whole concept of cell division how lifespan works in this world you can't avoid this fact.
Even with this opportunity this guy is still complaining, hope he will shape up to something better, I'll let his victim mentally slide since he's lived a rough life
You can also blush in anger or any emotion that involves blood rushing to your head. You were the one who made that assumption, what does that say about you 😂
This is pretty dumb, I hate main characters that think they know everything and are assured things will go fine just because. Obviously he only knows knowledge from a book and nowhere it says making 2 cores is a good idea, why does he think he can do it safely. Takes away a lot of immersion of the story and just a plot device to make the mc unique
