Just being a Discreet

Few moments later, their drinks has been served which is obviously alcoholic beverages. Why bother going into a bar if it was a fruit cocktail?

"I hope my everyday military life was like this" sighed Caelan upon the thought of his trouble some everyday life as a soldier. Well, he can't complain, since it's the line of work he choose and he was responsible for it.

"Just retire" with his usual blunt and poker face, Aka replied with earnestly.

He was always been like this, straight forward and daring. Those who grew up with him was accustomed to it so no hard feelings. They can't just understand how this man brain work like.

"I can't possibly do that. I joined the military to avoid the family business. Sitting in an office isn't my class, I can't stand those old geezers" Caelan honestly replied. Half of it was the real reason why he joined the military but in truth this young man has an unusual hobby, he has a passion to become a soldier. That began during his childhood, while he and his family is away from a vacation at an other country, they got caught up with a terrorist attack and he did seriously thought they will die and no one is there to rescue but he was wrong. They were rescued safely by the soldiers and came back alive by. This enlightened him and rather becoming the CEO of the family, he went to chase his goal with no regret and with an unparalleled credence on becoming a soldier.

"And shouldn't I be asking you to retire and focus on your clan? They are feral, thus didn't you admitted before that you dislike the clan" added Caelan in confusion. That's right, aren't Aka supposedly to be focusing with his responsibilities as the new head? Why would he suddenly return at service the moment he inherited the title?

"You can't underestimate me thorn. As you said, why would I be liable to that clan I antipathy?" Aka responded in calm as he drink his vodka in one shot

"Then why?" asked Caelan curiously

"Nobody knows about this but, there is a pact I and my father made…" Aka paused before continuing " I may inherit the title as the head however still, he will be the one responsible at the clan in the shadows and that's all for the sake of defending the title. You won't want the responsibility as a head at the clan"

"It might be easy to say however my time is circumscribed for this given leeway. Sooner, I'll need to traverse at the real deal after all. There is too much caitiff in the clan to censure anyway" he added

"That's why I don't want to be betrothed at your clan no matter how tempting it was" Caelan replied in mow.

"But before that I hope you survive the night" concluded Aka as he clamly stand and wrinkle his black coat

"What do you mean?" asked Caelan

"Didn't you heard? The government established a strict curfew hours temporarily for this week? Anyone who would be caught will be in jail for 24 hours, bribery isn't tolerated"

"You didn't bring your military i.d, no?" said Aka, his expression is filled with smugness

"F*ck!" cursed Caelan loudly. Now he think of it he never bring his i.d around! Just why would he need to, when he isn't in duty. Thus, What fcking city would established a curfew hours this time of year!?

With a glint of schadenfreude, Aka wave at him and leave the bar with no trace as he dispersed away. He has no fear in being caught, he can avoid any checkpoints and those who were on patrol.

The city is familiar and he know what safe route to use. He might've not grown here but his instinct is tenacious and playing hide and seek with the patrols is just a child play for him.

He is a discreet.
