I think this story is about Yang after he body soul switched with the Yan guy. So it follows The weak guy in the cultivation world with the strong guy as an occasional mentor because he said he will give him awards for accomplishing tasks. (so kind of similar to a system, but an actual person gives the awards and tasks etc.) Oh on the other hand he took the Xuan guys body that the strong guy found for him in the cultivation world.
