It's not a bad novel but the concepts and plot tools are so...basic (its the only way I can describe it). It's borderline wish fulfillment with the typical MC that's below average in intelligence. He really hasn't done anything I would consider training. Doesn't train skills, doesn't train at all for that matter. It seems riding on the "luck" more than anything else.
