Let me say thi, if Mo Shiyun is really a kind and smart girl as she was portrayed, she never would have tolerated the ambiguous and suspicious actions her mother did to the Jian family just for her convenience to enter the elite school. She knows and she still let it happen because she is manipulative, an opportunistic person. I can say that she is clever, as it goes eith being manipulative. I kinda have a hunch that she is also one of those behind the scenes instigator which made Jian Yiling's reputation go out the drain. She don't want to get dirt in her hands so she dtays behind the scenes and let her mother, Qui Yizhen do the show. If she is really kind, she can simply clear Jian yiling's reputation by saying that there are not enough proof to convict a young and vulnerable Yiling of pushing her brother off the stairs, instead she phrased her words ambiguously and let the rumors be exaggerated because of her continuous ambiguous phrases that made it seem as if she was suprressed by a powerful force, which is in fact the family didn't.
