No I didn't mean that they should be irresponsible I just feel that there should be equal responsibility for both the genders, I find it unfair for both the genders. Atleast from these novels, most of the females(not the leads) are expected to be obedient wives and them being independent as a plus point /additional thing, not something that's necessity, which is sad. For men, if they don't find job by a certain age they are deemed as useless. I just feel like there should be equal pressure, understanding and appreciation for all genders.
