They know the system is an op master of time and space that can enable travel between worlds/realm/cultivation sites at a whim but have not put together that they are likely in the past (before the war)...
It seems pretty obvious time travel is involved, but I'm not sure if it's a Red Herring or not. The Rain Emperor knew about Lord Supreme so I'm not sure anymore.
