Actually crying... how can all the women in this novel endure so much abuse?! My heart is breaking. The FL is so pitiable in how she’s wallowing in her regrets but relatable in the sense that she did make mistakes and it’s her fault. Namely, how she just abandoned a 5 year relationship for a random "beautiful" cold-hearted guy who was clearly in love with another person??! Hopefully, more secrets about he past will be relieved!! But I beg you, dear author, please give us a different ML. How can she possibly live happily with this guy who did cause her and her family’s life to turn into this hellish nightmare? It’s just not possible no matter how much she may have loved him, and how much he may change. The damage has been made and there’s no fixing it. This isn’t one mistake. This is a person who was and is driven to thoughts of suicide because of one single man. Please, I love her ex, and I ship them!! Give us an understandable ending where she leaves the current ML... and at any rate so damn happy for the little bird who has flown away, hope FL can achieve freedom too 🥺🙏❤️ This novel honestly is so weirdly touching ... and painful to read; I recommend others to read with caution and warning: repeated abuse and rape scenes 😰

this is more horror/psychological than romance... i appreciate that the ML isn't romanticized tho, he's a scumbag through and through
