OK now I haven’t gotten this far but I couldn’t resist looking ahead. I like Curtis but his jealousy towards his child is a turn off a big one at that. Some lines shouldn’t be crossed and I hope this whole child liking his mother thing is just his paranoia Anything else is Not OK I hope it’s just the child wanting to see his mom because that’s his mom and not any other way like I’ve been hearing .

LittlePolarBear:While I'm also pretty iffy on ****** related content, I think I've prepared myself for pretty much anything going into this novel. The author has been prempting readers for so long, reminding everyone that "this is a different world" and "they go by different rules". Just try to enjoy a story without thinking too much on all the other stuffs. Different cultures also have different ethics and rules, what more an entirely new world that's already embracing beastiality 😅 just my 2 cents though. Cheers!
some of her sons behavior isn't proper. he needs to go to the village and find a mate that isn't mama. but I have a feeling Curtis knows his species well...bai and Parker shouldn't have gone to look for the snake until he had a mate....im worried. Curtis may really have to kill him. Curtis keeps telling bai not to make him to do it too. aww man author...please don't have bai witness something like that

that baby snakes behavior is startling to me personally. and the fact that many readers seem to think that bais snake offspring will somehow be different is also off putting. this world is ruled by animals who happen to shape shift. animals are often known in our world to inter breed. curtis has a valid fear of the snake offspring. snakes in this world are feral and cold hearted and kidnap females and force them to be mates. and after seeing the little snakes aggressive behavior towards bai and the fact that it was showing off his *ahem* part truly leaves a worried feelings about whats gonna happen when that snake matures and its feral nature takes hold. curtis will have to intervene as that little snake will grow to b powerful and feral. its not gonna change. even curtis was wild and feral at the beginning. kidnapping her, marking her, forcefully mating with her and only with bai about to die did he send her back to Parker. her son will b the same, he will grow and eventually either by miracle or forcefully will aquire a mate. curtis is worried that the sweet little snake will grow and will attempt to kidnap his mother wanting her love becuase she has shown more kindness then what most snake offspring experience. females aren't known to willingly take ferals as mates. bai has been the only one todo so that we have known.
When the little snake helped his mommy sit, i thought “aww, how cute and sweet!” When the little snake got upset about BQ asking about his bros, i thought “he ate them....like father like son.” When the little snake showed his mommy his you-know-what, i thought “oh dear...He matured too fast. now Curtis will have to kill him 🤦♀️” This is a dog eat dog world...or snake eat snake world
