These chapters ending in cliffhangers are killing me. When Jyorta stepped out of the Red Building, I thought some Mind Path trickery would occur and affect the other students in some way. Even though that didn't happen, I do wish he was in front of the students for a bit longer. Also, despite the power of the Aura Path and Aura Induction being shown in full, I don't get a sense of awe when he just makes the Frenzy Beasts fight themselves. It's only when he uses his Aura Beam to destroy everything in his path do I feel in awe of his strength but even then, it's only with the help of his Frenzy Beasts and their Energy reserves. I hope the Mind, Soul, and Esper Paths will get their chance to shine just as Aura did in this arc. Jyorta is a Psychic Parasite after all. It doesn't help when Jyorta is always compared to Laila TLDR: I hope more focus is put on Jyorta's progress in the Mind, Soul, and Esper Paths. Jyorta controlling the Frenzy Beasts to fight his battles isn't very cool when compared to him using Aura Beam to kill droves of Frenzy Beasts himself. Basically, which is cooler? Controlling monsters to make up for your lack of personal strength or being strong enough to not need illusions in order to win? Finally, I hope Jyorta can create a technique for himself as a way to stand out from everyone else who have similar abilities as him.
9. The pacing was good and the continuous Jyorta-focused action was a lot of fun to read after the many arcs focusing on different perspectives and scenes. It was also great to see Jyorta using his new knowledge and skills to the fullest in creative ways, all while gaining more inspiration and experience during his exploration, as we expect from his character. The information dumps were well done and not too dry. Personally I enjoyed them tremendously. I also look forward to seeing more, a lot more, of his plans and development of the tattoo world. I wouldn't mind if there was even an entire arc dedicated to it, as long as he learns some cool and meaningful things by the end of it. Bundle Flea is the cutest frenzy beast so far too, so that's great :D Thank you very much for this great story!
10/10 Really loved the pacing of the arc, the explanation of his skills and abilities are clear, precise, and indepth, although it took some time to bear fruit. Regardless, it was a sweet fruit nonetheless, it resulted in an engaging and interesting encounters in the labyrinth, making you wonder what he could do in the wilderness. Also, the powers scaling of his abilities is well thought out, the limits are placed clesrly, resulting for the people to study their skills and abilities, to improve it the power systems limits. That's what I really like about this novel, the power system, realistic characters (based on their setting), and the world buulding, its depths, complexity, and unknown mysteries. Anyway, thanks for the chapter, Salamat.
9/10 The construction of Jyorta's skills and mentality before he explored the labyrinth were of utmost importance for his actions, each of his movements explored everything he learned in such a time even if it was a short period, because if we consider that he had to limiting himself during the whole time when he was under the eyes of others, so his performance and Vaika's criticism for his actions is related.
