So emotional hoping celestial energy can help Fex regain his youth. The rest of the gang likely either went into eternal sleep/cold sleep or using Qi to live longer. If celestial energy really can make followers immortal likely Erin has Bliss helping her live same with Layla if she really is one of the red vampire leaders.

I can't even begin to describe how wrong it was for Quinn's 1000 year slumber to steal the time away from all the characters that had become Quinn's family. Vorden, Owen, Layla, Logan, and now Fex and Samantha. That's only a few of the many friends that we will never read about again. It just leaves the reader with the worst bittersweet melancholic feeling ever.

The part I love the most: I missed you brother. That line hits right in the feels.Ouch Fex has lived a good and long life. Quinn is finally back with Fex. Now Quinn must strengthen Fex with some life energy and maybe some celestial energy. The way Fex lived it's not the years it's the milage. and I can't wait for him to shake off the years for another grand adventure. Fex even old is still the best like an old Indiana Jones. I have really been looking forward to this awakening. I would have loved to have a little more in this chapter but even without more I'm still so happy.

OMG, I can't believe I nearly cried reading this chapter, it has been so long and we were all hoped that Quinn and Fex would finally be reunited, and after finding out what had become of the Cursed Family/Faction, and of Samantha's passing, I think this chapter has best last sentence spoken in this story so far. I hope that with Quinn help, Fex can be restore to his former glory, and together they can finally avenge Samantha's death, and deal with the Dhampirs once and for all, including Erin.
