So assuming the blades are behind this attack, let's look at what we is strongly hinted at. We have a vampire who is, atleast in part a damph aswell. We also know she's been attacked by a group who share a very strong link with the blade family.. So my question is this... What if she's a damph caused by cross breeding. We know the blades power doesn't work on vamps due to the DNA configuration but could a cross breed circumvent that problem?
I wish everyone complaining about the POV changes would realize something. Basically, if the author didn't do this to set up the plot, there would just be random BS happening later with no explanation. If we followed Quinn all the time we would never have seen Arthur and the village that Minnie is from, for instance. There would have just been nothing, and then suddenly a random little girl that we were supposed to care about. This kind of thing is important when you've got a very spread out story like what is being set up here. Basically, quit b****ing about story writing.
so my guess as to what is going to happen next chapter is wherever Jessica ends up Quinn will rise out of her shadow, as he gave her part of his shadow and he will wreck a few people trying to kidnap/keep Jessica finishing the chapter with Quinn returning back to the corps with Jessica. then the second chapter tomorrow will start with Quinn right after he destroyed his face mask and finish with Quinn sinking into his shadow to go get Jessica, which we will have just read about his heroic rescue of her in the first chapter of tomorrow.
Quinn will find her or he will have some sort of summon skill or something. but this is interesting. I still don't think she is a damphire. I think she is something new and or something different. her existence has something to do with the humans, I think she might be a first generation augmentation as at one point humans were captured by the vampires to be subjects to experiments I think either pure or Logan went into vampire experiments. I could totally see him do it. i get that Jessica is running away from her problems. it's a fairly normal behavior. I don't know what I want to make of the chained or the sword tattoos but somehow I feel like this is going to lead back to Jim. Jim had that twisted need to control everyone, and his clone was just as twisted. and in possession of some of Hilston's chained. I think he could totally set something like this up. I'm spinning here but it's a surprising chapter.
By the sounds of it Jessica condition is artificial. Poor girl has no chance with Quinn he is going leave another broken heart at this rate. Hopefully when she finds out she will ask about the rumors and he will say he likes someone. The chained if these are the same style and are used by the Blade family still likely it is either the kids that were with the curse faction remade the Blade family. Or Vorden and Ratan really did die and Sil turned dark side. Considering Vicky is with Logan I doubt the brother would have been behind them and the father and mother pair likely won't either. A minor chance Hilstone may have some how revived.
