So Layla working with red vampires , Logan is working with the pure , Obviously Erin is the damphir Queen , no wonder the cursed faction fell apart there leaders left to infiltrate the others groups and control them from within ,as the old saying goes if you can't beat them join ( an destroy them from within )
If the person described as one of the leaders is, in fact, Layla... Considering that they are using Rex Immortui's celestial marking for the dedicated followers, it stands to reason that she would have also succumbed to the influence of the sword (which had also been marked by Rex Immortui) and become one of his dedicated followers at some point (otherwise they would never trust her). This adds so many potential interesting drama potentials. If Layla has been marked as a dedicated follower, if Quinn eventually kills Rex Immortui, Kayla dies as well. Quinn would have to decide whether to eliminate that threat and kill one of his closest friends/love interests or allow it to fester and potentially destroy everything. If she has been marked, can Quinn find a way to remove it and return her back to herself? If Layla has not been marked, is she under the influence of the 5th stage of Qi and, if so, can it be removed without killing her? I hope when JKS moves and sets up in the UK in a couple days he can return to 3 chapters per day and push out a couple mass releases per month to speed up things a tad. This slow pace is killing me. He should have ample time to write while couch surfing at friend's houses while apartment hunting... and more chapters = more income = better/more options for apartments.
wonder if Peter is worried that mask broke? After all it's been said he can feel when they break How is Layla alive? đ Also Quinn is obviously immortal and so is Peter. I just realized they will be forever friends when will Lucia and Jessica get suspicious of Quinn. Time for some foreshadowing Isn't Peter and quinn hungry after fighting? What if Vicent found a wife and had children again? Will Minny or Quinn get caught using shadow powers ?
Good to have Layla confirmed but she is on the red vampire side. I was worried after last chapter and thought the situation might have been something like Layla took out Luxmas and became the new head follower of Rex due to the swords corruption and that the female leader that helped the humans was either Linda or Hayley who due to their connection Layla allowed them to be. However it confirmed the girl leader is Layla not many who have two horns and the sword let alone know about the curse faction masks. Though still possible Layla may be the leader of both factions like a split in personality from the sword hence why one faction is against humans and the other isn't.
