He’s Gonna accept Being king. If nothing else, for the rewards to help defeat the Dalki. I could also see him using this title to reveal the vampire world to the humans and have the colaborate to defeat the Dalki, and then whatever is left will have To unite to defeat Laxmus

I was wondering if Quinn was going to pass out from exhaustion after that epic battle.

He has to become king cause then Fex will have to take Quinn's love advice and go for Samantha ;) Also though the Vampires need to change and get involved with the war. Hiding their history has only kept backfiring on them they need to learn from their mistakes. Hope Layla and the rest are ok with the curse faction they should be fine as long as Graham doesn't show up. However with all the deaths lately am afraid Quinn will get back to find things worse off.

I really hope he takes the position and uses it to rebuild the vampire settlement and prepare for Laxmus and Graham inevitably teaming up. But I have a feeling he's going to decline and nominate/appoint Muka as king instead.

Becoming king is not an evolution, it's a position. When the system told him to find out what was beyond a vampire lord it was a different quest from being King. When he absorbed the crystals at the punisher's castle, it told him he was getting closer. He might have the choice to evolve once he wakes up as his body was getting used to the new energy. Or maybe his talking to ray in his sleep since the tablet is inside his shadow. I still haven't seen the quest about the Talens completed either.

Well that was short and unfulfilling…

Humans caught up in a convoluted war between the Dalki and the vampire that was initiated by Jim's need for recognition. Pure's innate connection to qi, and hatred of ability users. Laxmus on the loose regaining his ability, and looking to create an army of his own. Quinn trying to find balance, and become powerful enough to protect the ones he cares for. Character interactions that must occur, quests to be completed, romances to develop, and many questions to be answered. Bliss planning her next disaster. So many moving parts in just this novel alone, and I know that I won't be disappointed with how JKS will masterfully weave and interlock the entire saga together.

He will accept being temporary king until everything is settled and then pass the mantle on to someone else maybe Muka... Shortest Reign in Vampire history but the most epic. That should satisfy all parties and we get to clear a scenario QUEST.

I dont think Quinn will abandon the vampires, but he will defibutley be hesitant on being king. He has other things going on outside of the vampire world that still require his attention. However, I don't think he plans on leaving just yet, not with the other half of the dragon still there, (though, one of the cursed planets was under attack, and we dont know if they are ok yet). Im sure Quinn will work out some type of workaraound that allows him to leave and take care of the cursed, but still return to watch out for the vampires. Eventually they will definitley join sides with the humans. On a side note, still no idea what that lab full of subclass' fex and linda found is for. Don't know whats going on with pure, and now Laxmus is a future threat. somehow i feel that Laxmus is going to join a side, (not Quinns/humanities side) perhaps the dalkis side? They both want to erradicate humans, and both value strength above all.

Quinn needs Rest! Yes Quinn is going to be king. Yes Quinn probably doesn't really want the job, long hours low wages, little in the way of institutional history/ memory, and everyone always wants him to fix their problems for them. If it weren't a Quest with rewards I really don't think Quinn would take the job. Now Quinn has to get up from his multi day nap, put on his big boy pants and figure out what he is going to do after taking the crown.

I feel he will become King but at the same time I don't think he will keep the position for himself for long unless he finishes all of the fighting with the Dalki before going after Laxmus. in which case he will integrate the Vamps and Humans. I also believe he may usurp Immortui's roll as a god.

Has anyone else thought that by using Vincent’s ability within the system that as long as it doesn’t affect it in anyway that he could use it to trade in Jim’s Blood Crystal to revive Vincents body and transfer his soul into it restoring his powers and ability as well or has he already gave it to be forged?
