If it wasn't for Jim the Dalki wouldn't be much of a threat they would probably never develop the technology needed to travel space on there own or at least as well. They would be stuck on their home planet being a powerful but simple race.

Well if they do allow Slicer to fight humanity next I think that most of the Human will be terrified considering she's a 5 Spiked Dalki. It's interesting to see how Dalki society works and make me wonder what the maximum number of spikes the Dalki could evolve to have.
