I dont know why but I think that tree in the middle of the shelter has to do something with the demon beast

My money is on assko secretly sacrificing his members to the demon tier.

ko is gonna get it from Quinn

That tree has been mentioned too many time for it to not have some connection to what is going on. And Quinn is gonna find out just before he ends Ko

Ko is doing something shady that's not much of a suprise.

The situation is getting more dire, yet Ko is keeping secrets. Is this a human sacrifice to appease the demon tier beast? Was this a deal Ko struck in order to spare his life by giving everybody else’s life to the demon tier beast?

ok one more conspiracy theory . most higher tier beasts have intilect . and ko seems to be keeping a eye out for one person specificly and even got dissappointed when he didnt see them in those who returned . what if the demon tier beast is blackmailing ko so hes giving members over to the beast. (the biggest thing against this is its a demon tier beast that probaly has the strength to take what it wants without blackmail)

So is the tree the demon tier did Ko know about it from the start or at least suspect something was not right. Looks Quinn will catch him red handed.

Quinn is on track to get the other demi-god crystal if he deals with Ko (sinister implications of his behavior meriting severe punishment). perhaps securing the demon tier crystal as well.
