So, theory time. The first king is Richard Eno. He is the one who has been hiding the presence of the Blades and gave humans abilities to fight the Dalki. He knows the Dalki have the ability to threaten the vampires if they gain access to the particular demon tier beast they need. That beast is the one Hilston has controlled, therefore hiding him protects the vampires. As they are, the vampires are blind to this threat and have taken a serious of actions and internal squabbling (such as eliminating the Punishers) that has weakened their position of power. Both their rejection of certain subclasses and beast gear denies them tools to defend themselves. Richard Eno helped develop this system as a failsafe for just such an occasion. Now, generations after it's creation the threat of the Dalki spurred the need to act. The book was given to Quinn, heir by blood of the fallen tenth. Raised among humans and weak by their standards, willing to use any tool available to meet the next challenge. The perfect fit to save the vampires from themselves.
just had another brain storm... so the system said Vincent's soul was bound to the system. and it also unlocked a new store. what if the new store is just Vincent using his ability. like anything that he understands can be created. also if this is the case it should allow Quinn to find a way to get vorden back and it would also be useful to teach others how to use the shadow ability, or just have Vincent teach someone else how to use his ability through quinn
I'm actually curious now what others think how quinn will become king will he become king now or in the future as of the moment I don't think quinn is qualified to be king but I think he should try to influence the future of the vampire in ways where he will become the king in a quicker way but not now
The moment weve all been waiting for. Also this makes me super curious. Its like the system has its own agenda, like, most vampires would probably stop at leader, but Quinn's system is like, yea no, go big or go home. It makes me wonder how much influence the "mysterious person" who helped Vincent create the system actually had on the system itself. Though Vincent is the one who actually created it, he did have help with the concept if i remember. And it's not like Vincent to put in a code for 'become vampire king'. Leader sure, since his biggest regret was abandoning the 10ths people. But king? Some "unknown" (eno??) force is pulling the strings and directing fate. (all personal brain thoughts of course)
Yes finally knew it was coming Quinn becoming King is the only way for him to gain some semi balance of freedom including freeing Paul's men. It's time for the vampires to come into the light Quinn is already a world leader and with the Dalki war and them having Arthur and another vampire behind them it is only a matter of time before the war encroaches on them as well.
There were just and only two possible paths for Quinn. 1. To support Arthur in wiping out the vampires. 2. To somehow become the vampire king and go against Arthur. Also, this one seemes mmore possible. ... Seems it's the way I was warry of. I hope, there will be some plottwist as I don't want those two to go agains each other.
