my thoughts thus far: 1) I think it's a safe bet, like most said, that Richard Eno is Vincent and Katie's son, and Quinn's father/grandfather/patrilineal predecessor. 2) I think Jim accidentally makes the Dalki, and the vampires move planets to avoid humans. 3) The Dalki then get free from the vampires, and develop a society. 4) Richard Eno creates the human teleporters and sells them to various companies so that he can raise funds to live. 5) The humans then interact with the Dalki, staring the war. 6) Once the vampires find out about the war, the protector-motivated vampires pass on the abilities to humans, and from there, humans learn how to unlock their own abilities, which is where the originals come in. 7) The book was created by Richard Eno and given to his descendants, and it made it down to Quinn through inheritance. 8) Vincent and Katie's deaths were probably done by assassin vampires, without them(the vampire world) knowing that Richard had already been born and raised. 9) We will see these details in flashbacks in the next couple arcs, as Quinn interacts with vampires who were around for these various moments, either as vampire spies in the human world, or as protectors trying to guide the humans/correct the fallout from the vampires' activities.
So I have a theory...Possibly Rochard Eno is a by product of Katie and Vincentâs relationship thus him being a Dhampir with the tenth houseâs power being passed onto him. And maybe Richard is Quinnâs actual biological father and Quinn being more human due to have a half vampire dad and a full human mother...Thats it, thats my theory. What yall think?
ha! how fun. of course it's always a woman, romantic love is just biochemical heroin our brains make for itself. if you have even had the misfortune of knowing the latter you'd know that almost nothing short of death will stop you from fixing. from personal experience i personally can't tell the difference between the 2.
So many ppl going "Vincent is Quinn's dad". And here I am all, but this was one King's rule ago. Quinn is 17. This story is old, how long have the current king been in charge? Adding whatever time the previous king had still to go. Could be a millennia for what we know. If the info about vamps and humans being unable to have children is false. Then a distant ancestor might be possible. If the info is true, then a guardian in the family's past maybe. The Dhampire stuff was a myth after all, it's not necessarily true. Or it's all forgotten and the book moved hands too many times, and just happened to end up with Quinn's family. đ
