Idea for an skill/ability that may be usable as an vamp without attracting unwanted attention: Bleeding Wounds: Your attacks inflict the victim with Haemophilia, making wounds ooze large amounts of blood if not sealed in time. You know, something that doesn't really show as an ability, but still affect the enemy in some way. :D Another idea... Red Fever: Ability the mc needs to activate. Costs 5 mililitres of blood from his 'Blood Bank' and lets him enter some kind of beserker modus for 5 minutes or so. (2X DMG) You can basically evolve the Blood Bank into a "Mana Bar" -> Blood Bar and connect abilities to it :O ;P Just an idea that popped up in mind while reading. I like to come up with skills/abilities while reading stories such as this one ^^

well actually umbrella is considered a perfect all round weapon ....it can act is defensive round shield , sharp and powerful as lance and u can even add gun...for you information Many alucard chars used umbrella as weapon in game...for example...female vampire Rachel Alucard used umbrella as weapon..and white king also used umbrella as weapon...

Ok... I believe I'm talking a to the wall, nobody will care about what I have to say, but this is bugging me... 1 - A greek myth is not the oldest account for vampirism, as there are even tales dates back to Mesopotamia thay relates to it. 2 - This greek myth is almost certainly a hoax. Not only does it not feel like a greek myth, but acording to it's origins, it probably was implanted sometime way after Ancient Greek and Rome 3 - Though I'm not sure, silver is a weakness of vampire mostly because of fairies, actually, same for werewolves. Silver has always been THE great weakness of fairies and it has bleed into other myths. There is also a vampiric fae, which is where it could've blended into. 4 - Vampires were not always seen as evil. There were vampiric faes in England that were either good or bad, for example. And monster does not equal bad. Christianity has made most of old mythology bad, tho, so they mad it so vampires are now considered as evil. As the church included vampires as demonic creatures, they would be lead to believe a sign of their god could help them fight them: therefore, the cross. I would not be talking about all this if the character wasn't supposed to be knowledgeable in them. That said, this is not a criticism, as I can understand the writer just didn't have the time to search it this much and I just obsess too hard on vamps and myths... So I thought I should point it out to anybody that wants to know.
