Lol did the rank 5 artisan in the dukedom bot tell them that sam is now Rank 6? Even if they assumed he was only rank 5, a rank 5 16 year old isn’t someone a rank 4 young master should be picking fights with. And if he’s aware of the park sam made, them he might’ve picked up on the rumors that sam has a powerful bomb that people in Nascent stage cant handle at all. People in the next realm would probably have some problem with it too. So if he’s not as dumb as he appears, does that mean that his goal in meeting Sam was never to buy the formations? Maybe he was trying to provoke sam?
