Shen Rou is the one ruining friendships. She knows Gong Zeli loves her but she loves Mo Yesi. She's using GZ's love for her to drive a wedge between to two friends because she thinks she has a shot at being MY wife. She had 20 years and nothing came out of it. Obviously waiting a little longer won't make a difference. And this GY, accusing of MY letting a woman get between their friendship when he's doing the same. He's such a coward. He loves Shen Rou but instead of confessing he becomes her lackey. All MY asks of his friends is for them to respect his wife as any friends should. She did nothing for them to hate her, but first meeting they were rude to her. MY doesn't need friends like them. Why bother maintaining a friendship when none respect him or his feelings.

This fight between Mo Yesi and Gong Zeli reminds me of the dissatisfaction between Lu Tingxiao and Mo Lingtian. They both were childhood friends, and Guan Ziyao (I think it was her name) was included too. Though MLT was not okay with LTX not returning GZY's feelings, he didn't take things to this extreme. He covertly helped GZY pursue LTX, but never had a fall out with him. But here, GZL is stupider than MLT. He clearly stood against MYS, and now their friendship is gone. For what? For a woman who doesn't even take him seriously. He is just a henchman for SR. And he is accusing MYS of being bewitched by QMM, when he himself is bewitched by another woman, who wouldn't ever think of him if it wasn't for helping her plans.
If their 10 plusbof friendship meant so much then they would accept Mo Yesi decision to marry whom he wanted & would respect his wife because of their friendship! Shen Rou should give a plublic apology to Qiao Chen because she was big, bad & bold enough to malign & ridicule him with all those insults without any facts! Gong Zeli should have been honest with Shen Rou about her being wrong, but he was biased!!! With friends like those who needs enemies?
