As supportive as Shen Youljn is, if I were Mo Roulan, I don't think I would appreciate my friend using violence on a teacher to stand up for me. It doesn't help with trying to prove my case. Just saying she's doing more harm than good.

To be honest, I don't know how I feel about this story. The FL doesn't set boundaries between her and other men even though the ML gets jealous very easily. I'm not saying she can't interact with the opposite sex but at least don't put yourself in a position that will make people misunderstood easily. and it's not just once. And the ML.... not that he's bad but he for sure can open his eyes more to the people around him. The story is not bad, but also not super good. At most, it's average. The face slapping doesn't take too long at least.

I think the author was tired of writing this story because the story ended before anything got resolved. It had great build-up but totally fell flat. So disappointing.

NGL.... I'm not a fan of the mother. She hides everything from her daughter and in turn causes more problems for her. Had she initially discussed the events happening, most of the problems could be resolved or a solution could be found. I get that she doesn't want to worry her kids, but wouldn't it be more worrisome to find out later?

At first, this story was interesting. But after so many chapters in (I'm current as of now - chp. 1491), the story is getting repetitive. Face-slapping is very slow and takes awhile. I feel like the author is stretching the story so much that I don't understand the point of the story anymore. The author keeps creating people who are against the FL and/or ML but there's no end.

I started reading this as a trial and loved it so much I finished reading it with the mtl. It wasn't too difficult to try to understand but I can't wait to read the fully translated version. Strong likable FL and ML characters.

It's like that saying 'Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.' Basically the FL is a fool. She never learned from her mistakes. The novel is probably short because the author can't turn around and make the FL or the ML likeable.

This is where she needs to express her thoughts and feelings. If both mothers want the best for her, they would truly let her be happy and heal.

If you want frustration with ALL the characters, then this story is for you! Beware! You'll be so frustrated you'll probably want to throw your phone because these characters just make you so mad. All of them! While the characters are infuriating, the storyline is not too bad and it makes you want to read further to see if these characters will redeem themselves.

I'm surprised the company can run for this long considering how the higher ups believe every thing they hear instead of verifying things. Like who believes someone is the new president just becomes she claims to know someone? 🙄

Do people not check to see who's at the door before opening it? I'm sure she'll get less unwanted visitors if she checks first.

A best friend should listen to her friend on what she wants. Shen Yan has already told her she's not looking for a relationship yet CN keeps pushing guys to her. So irritating 😑

I don't know how they think they could trick people when Qiao Anxin supposedly looks like her dad.

Shen Rou is the one ruining friendships. She knows Gong Zeli loves her but she loves Mo Yesi. She's using GZ's love for her to drive a wedge between to two friends because she thinks she has a shot at being MY wife. She had 20 years and nothing came out of it. Obviously waiting a little longer won't make a difference. And this GY, accusing of MY letting a woman get between their friendship when he's doing the same. He's such a coward. He loves Shen Rou but instead of confessing he becomes her lackey. All MY asks of his friends is for them to respect his wife as any friends should. She did nothing for them to hate her, but first meeting they were rude to her. MY doesn't need friends like them. Why bother maintaining a friendship when none respect him or his feelings.

I don't understand why people think a simple apology would make up for someone trying to kill someone. Let's see if they feel the same way if it happened to them.

With parents like Yun Xi's parents, I'm not surprised she died in her last life.

This novel is one where none of the characters are likeable. The ML is a d*bag, FL is dumb for sticking to a relationship with the crappiest ML, and the white lotus is mental case. I've tortured myself reading up to chapter 221 hoping for the story to get better. Or at least for the FL to have an awakening and realize she needs none of these people in her life and she can do so much better. But 🙅‍♀️. I get the story is not too far in but all the shenanigans and attitude of the ML just throws you off from this story. Read if you want to torture yourself. I might try again once the story is complete and see if the FL smarten up and realize she can do so much better.

This story had so much potential but towards the end it just flatlined. Had the story continued before abruptly ending, it would've made for a good read. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. I do not recommend if you want a story with proper ending.
