The screensaver says it all!!! So was Cynthia betrothed to Mr IV because of the arranged marriages within the families but she escaped and married Charlie instead? I’m not sure if she had feelings for Mr IV but she did say to Charlie that ‘he had found her’. Did she leave because Mr IV wanted what he was promised & would have hurt Charlie, Oliver & Angela unless she left them?? Maybe she did it to protect them? I felt she was very guarded & poker faced at their dinner. Maybe her experience has left her hardened & she doesn’t want the same life for Angela?? Gael is lovely as always 😍
