Road of Flowers
The babylonian calendar thing is a little stupid. Even I knew about this (and I'm no genius) that the Babylonians set up a week using Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn. Why? Because countries in Eurasia from England to Japan ended up using it. In English SUNday MONday TEUSday (for Teu=Mars), WEDNEsday (for Woden=Mercury), THURsday (THOR=Jupiter), FRIday (FREYA=Venus) and SATURday (=Saturn). It's found in many other languages, always in the same order. Only a few (like Spanish) renamed Sunday as 'The Lord's Day' (Domingo) and Saturday as "Sabbath" (Sabado), but still left the weekdays alone.
