don't apologize. that is the problem with good authors like you, when ever you mess up, you apologize too much. we accept your hiatus and we accept the reason. however, you could have said "I forgot to write for the past however long." and we would have accepted that too. you are a great author, this is in no way me being mean, I am just saying you don't have to apologize, just keep doing what you are doing.
