couldn't Jake just make them slaves? I don't really like the idea. But he could threaten them to it, which would make them assets instead of threats..
That was just stupid. Jake was an idiot. It’s a known fact that if you bully a bully then they’ll take it out on their victim. That woman will either die by their hands or suffer an even greater pain because of Jake’s actions. But she’s not really important. He’s not obliged to save everyone he’s an idiot for different reasons: He gave away his advantage. They’re going to make sure they can raise their stats. If he can control them then couldn’t he force them to walk out with him and kill them outside? Couldn’t he force them to give the slave contract to him? Then he’ll have his own slave to either set free or have a 100% trustworthy aide He controlled their bodies to slam to the ground, which didn’t register as an attack. Couldn’t he make them attack each other with guns. Either killing themselves or making the drones attack them? Finally, the biggest reason for calling him an idiot was because what he did revealed that he’s more powerful than them. They’ll never underestimate him. They’ll either plot revenge on him or those around him. Jake really needs someone more ruthless around him and soon. He’s going to make more trouble for himself in the future.
I swear if they perform revenge in anyway I will drop the novel immediately. Just yesterday I said I will read it untill the mc does something intolerable. Who knew that something like that happened some chapters later. I have a problem with novel where the IQ of the person gets higher and higher. The Iq of the mc can't exceed that of the author It is impossible.Also what he just did is not kind or hero-like in anyway. It is being mentally retarded. And what he just did absoluetly has nothing to do with personality or being naive or whatever the author is going to say. It was a low IQ. He was not able to take many things into consideration. To connect the dots. To imagine "what happens if I do this". I liked that he tried to help her, but not this way wtf?? I don't know what all comments mean with "he needs to be more ruthless". What he just did has nothing to do with being ruthless or not. He was retarded. Ond can be smart AND doing good deeds.
This was too much for me. I am not judging you man but finding them so soon, doing what he did and not suffering a drawback, honestly still ok. However any more wish granting bravado and the realism of the novel will be disturbed. This is only my opinion so dont take it to heart but still I would really like if he didnt try to play hero in the future....
