Fun fact: you’re actually supposed to drink your water, to keep hrydrated in the desert and not sAve it. Most ppl who are stranded in the desert tend to die with a lot of water on hand due to dehydration which you never know you are until it’s too late. So yes they are actually doing the right thing. Though you should probably drink it sparingly and in a desert you probably only have 2 days of lack of water losing some days due to your physical exhertion and the heat

Great read so far! Keep it up. Although I wanna note that drinking urine will only shorten the amount of time you have by burdening you with even more problems. When is such a situation one should never drink urine in hopes of lasting longer. That is just a false myth propagated from film.
