Loved the greedy chicks move. Made me giggle. Also liked the peaceful resolution so far. Nice not to see everyone murder happy.

It's so nice having a protagonist that doesn't sweat the small stuff in this kind of novel. Usually a protagonist would demand the execution of the entire clan for such a slight instead of just taking the money and getting support.

pls noone spoil if I am right but I just realized that since mc is a wisp and like really in touch with his soul wouldn't he be really good at bringing people back from the dead or instantly kill someone by either forcing out or bringing back in their soul into their body?

Does the grammar get any better? Its really jarring to have present tense verbs in 3rd person narration, and then past tense in others.

A wild mc appear with a simple solution must don't care about. Quite a good ending without unnecessary bloodshed. But there should be a way to cancel a Blood contract bindings, since everything have a counter and there must have been people wishing to destroy those bindings.

Why is MC not harvesting dantians of humans? He can absorb them and save money. It's hypocritical that he kills innocent beasts for demon cores but beasts can't absorb human dantians. Or at least mc isn't doing it despite that he was hunted like a monster and not seen as sapient by humans.

Wording is everything. Some evildoers are only too happy to slide a monkey wrench into the works using loopholes. One way, they have to do no harm and provide support... forever. Another way, they only have to do no harm, until they leave the city. A third option restricts all of that to only the timeframes that they are in the city... forever. Get your wording straight or it could be your undoing.
