I wonder if it is really the ghost who took it back to Father Edwards table or someone who have a dark mind instead. I now doubt Lady Agatha, Mr. Reed and Mr. Harry in particular. Because among all these mishaps that is occuring in Reed's mansion Mr. Reed is too good and understanding that is too good to be true. Mr. Harry could be the owner of everything and his generation will be the next heirs if Graham doesn't have a bloodline to follow as Alison and Graham are the only heirs. Agatha, it is obvious that she's blindly following her husband along with satisfying her own greed. I also think that somebody is poisoning Lady Viola, Graham and amay be Louise too as the procuring headache doesn't feel like a hereditary one.
So with the possibility of Viola actually not being involved with everything that's happening, ruled out, we can expect some improvement in their relation? since Viola's still not very fond of Louise. And about the cross, even if the thing is not scared of holy objects, why would it bring it back to the father? is it some kind of indication to something? It's getting pretty messy~
Well Viola seems better in my eyes. But I could just be fooled. Also the priest is afraid of going inside š³ I would be too! Those last few paragraphs were scary. It was on his desk! I thought maybe Julie better wear it instead of hanging up but it seems not to matter. This poltergeist is strong and intelligent.
Whoever that ghost is, it really said ānot in my household mr.priestā thatās terrifying though, to like have something come back to you just like that, that could only mean that the ghost is warning him. So this is the second proof that has been witnessed by someone other than louise which is a good thing becuase that means more people will believe her. Thank you Ash for the update ā¤ļøā¤ļø
Woah, the end of that chapter is next level creepy. It seems whatever entity that exists in the manor doesn't like being told what to do. This can only spell future disaster for the current inhabitants of the manor. Hopefully more clues can be found before the situation escalates too much further. On the other hand it was good to see Lady Viola and Louise come to some sort of understanding. Based off this chapter I feel like Viola isnt as bad as she comes across she just distrusting and very protective of her family. I'd love to see their bond grow further. It was good to see Viola open up and give Louise some better insight to the situations that occurred in the past. As always looking forward to the next chapter.
At least there's a little conversation that went on between Louise and Viola this time. Lady Viola has something to tell her more but was stunned by a gripping headache; why is it the same with Graham? Louise still thinks that what had happened to Lisa was planned, as she's taken in what Viola told her. It's getting so much spooky here; if the ghost was the one that returned that cross to Father Edward, that's expected that he wouldn't go inside again the manor. If it isn't, the one that returned the cross to him does certainly know where he lives or where his office is inside the church as he had said that the cross was on his table. but what's more bizarre is the notion that if the ghost is unaffected by it, why would it return the cross to him? It could be that it isn't the ghost that's doing it but by somebody who's a person. More mysteries coming to unfold and to be found next. š Thanks for this interesting chapter, dear Ash. šš
