Chapter 4

"Let's change now, Dari. Guys, wait for Dari and I, okay? Especially you, Dalton, wait for me."

Lynn winked at Dalton that made the latter irritated. "Stop flirting with me, Lynn," Dalton scolded. I just laughed at the two of them. They just looked like a dog and a cat. But I'm sure Dalton will fall in love with Lynn too. My friend is beautiful, anyway.

Lynn and I got dressed. While Lynn was in the bathroom, I got the flower from where I kept it earlier. I looked again because maybe the name of the sender was also engraved on it. It's just that Lynn came out of the bathroom already, yet I still couldn't see his name.

I just sighed after I hid it. There is really no name of the sender, I supposed? Lynn saw my face a little sad. "What's wrong, Dari? Why are you upset there? Can't you see the bikinis I bought?" She approached a cabinet in the middle of our bed. "Here."

She handed me a pair of bikinis that I accepted. I went to the bathroom and got dressed. I don't want to tell Lynn about the two flowers I received because she will definitely tease me.

Yes, I had many suitors before, but not that much like Lynn had. But I declined them all because the type of man I want is the man who is sweet. And I find the person giving me flowers, sweet. Sweet because flowers are my favorite. I just hope I could see him.

I heard a knock on the door that made me jumped. I immediately left. "Why did you spend so much time in the comfort room, Dari?"

"Nothing. I just had a hard time wearing the bikini," I lied to which Lynn bought it. Every time, really, it is so easy to lie to her. But she can't do the same to me because she's so easy to read. They are the same as Dalton.

Lynn and I went out. We saw Dalton and Kaid teasing each other again while Ackley was just watching them. Sometimes, I could feel bad for him.

When Kaid saw me, he smiled at me. "Oh, brother-in-law, my beautiful wife is finally here," he joked to Dalton.

The latter punched him in the stomach. "Stupid, I told you you should not call me brother-in-law because you can't marry my sister! You have to go through so many needle holes before you can get her!"

"How many needle holes are there, brother-in-law?" I laughed because of that, and I also heard Lynn's soft laugh. "Look, I made her laugh, brother-in-law. So you need to reduce the amount of the needle holes, okay?" He was being playful again.

Dalton hit his head. So I stopped my brother. "Stop it, Dalton. You already hit Kaid's head so many times. Pity him..."

I deliberately hung up on what I was going to say. "Did you hear that, brother-in-law? My soon-to-be wife is concerned about me," he smiled, but I continued what I was going to say.

"Pity him because he might lose his abs in the stomach that are just two, by the way. I will also pity him when you hit his head way too far, Dalton, he might lose his brain forever."

I wanted to laugh out loud when I saw the priceless expression on Kaid's face. They laughed as well, but Ackley's laughter dominated.

"What can you say now, huh? Do you think you can still marry my sister?" Dalton smirked at Kaid. The latter got annoyedㅡthough it's not that obvious, but I'm his friend, which made me still saw it.

Your disadvantage when you became friends with me is that I can read the expression on your faces, especially if we're friends for years. That's your disadvantage, and my advantage.

"Stop it, guys. Let's go to the pool." The laughter ended when Lynn spoke. While we're at the elevator, Lynn approached Dalton. I don't know if it was just me, but I also felt Ackley and Kaid approached me.

I looked to my other side, but they were gone. They were in the back and glaring at each other again as if they could get hurt. It was as if they were killing each other in that way. I just sighed. I was just having an illusion; they were in the back and not here next to me.

When the elevator opened, Lynn was about to cling to my brother's arm when he approached me. "Why is your friend being like that to me, Dariantha? Does she like me?" he winced as he looked at her.

"You should know it to yourself by now, Dalton," I answered, shrugging my shoulders My brother should really know that by now. Lynn was being very obvious. But Dalton also seems to have numbness, which made me want to hit his head hard so he can have his senses.

"Hey, why are you staring at me like that? You're creepy, Dariantha," he scolded. I didn't realize I was looking at him badly. When I laughed suddenly, he hit my head, but I just ignored it.

We went to the pool. "You won't swim, Dariantha?" Kaid and Ackley asked at the same time when I realized I just went straight to a pool chair and sat there.

I smiled, shaking my head. "I will, but later. You can go swimming without me, don't worry."

"It's more fun when you're with me." I heard Ackley whispered.

"It's more enjoyable when I'm with someone I like." I heard Kaid whispered.

In the end, the two of them also dipped in the pool. Lynn and Dalton are on one side while Ackley and Kaid are in the middle. They caught the crowd's attention and now they were being crazy over Ackley and Kaid. I want to laugh at the forced smiles they show when the crowd was taking pictures with them.

Every time, really, they can always make me laugh.

I was about to put on my shades when a man approached. It looks like he still doesn't want to speak because he looked around. Thus, I spoke to get his attention. "Yes?"

He looked startled when he heard me. "C-Can we take a picture? I have a c-crush on you." He averted his gaze again.

I smiled before standing up and approaching him. "Of course. Give me your phone, I will take our picture."

Embarrassed, he reached for his phone. I put on a 2 seconds timer before we took a selfie. We took many selfies. After his phone, I took my phone and used it. When I get to meet a fan like him, I like to take a picture of us, frame it and put it in a room at home. It is almost full, by the way.

"I-I still have a question to ask, can I?"

"Go ahead."

He took a deep breath before speaking. "Can I court you?"

I was shocked by what he told me. Yes, many have asked me that question, but I felt like it was always the first time. "Of course. But I can't promise to say yes, okay?"

My answer also surprised him. "Of course! It's okay even if you won't give me your yes, I just want to show you how I court. Are you, perhaps, free right now?" he smiled; the smile I know is genuine.

That's always the answer I get when I say I couldn't give my yes. Because for me, maybe, they just admire me, and that's it. It is quite obvious to others that they just really admire me, nothing more.

What I want in a guy before I give him my yes is that he should love me and not just admire.

"Of course. Where are we going?"

"Just come with me if it's okay with you." He even covered my eyes with a blindfold, yet I just let him.

I trust all of my fans because I'm sure they won't do anything that I won't like. I know they are kind. Thus, I really do feel happy seeing them.

I felt his hands on my shoulders, but as before, I just let him. I'm also a little excited about where he will take me because for me, this seems like our bonding. As we walked, the noise I could hear seemed to diminish.

It was noisy in the pool because of Kaid and Ackley. Too confusing. Well, I couldn't blame them, though. They are both handsome. If I'm also a fan, I'm sure I might be even louder than them.

It was as if I can no longer see a clear light, which made me feel a little nervous. But I got that off my head for he's my fan; I trust him.

Finally, he removed my blindfold, but darkness greeted me. I thought it was just because of the long blindness, but when I roamed my eyes around, still, what I could was black. All black.

The man came in front of me and even though it was dark, I could still see a smirk plastered on his face. My nervousness before got tripled when he pushed me. I was sitting there, so he approached me again.

He knelt in my front me and I looked at me with desire in his eyes. He took off his clothes and just threw them away. He held both of my hands; he also put a masking tape on my lips so I could not scream. The guy started kissing my neck. I tried to walk away, but he just pulled me again. He is stronger so I could do nothing. All I could do was let out soft sobs.

I couldn't do this. I still thought he was kind and not a crazy person. I never thought he would do this to me. I wanted to be mad at him but I got more angry with myself because if I didn't go with him, this won't happen.

He stood up and was about to take off his pants when he suddenly fell due to a punch. "If I were you, I wouldn't have just done that if I wanted to live."
