Yes he did 'kill' his teammate but he was already going to die with being hit by the puppet needles which were undoubtedly poisoned. No way the guy would have survived even if MC was able to kill everyone the idiot teammate would have died from the poison before getting back to base. Was a worthy sacrifice even if it was a little dark on MC part to plan that scenario from the start. More like a mercy killing.

I am happy you got rid of these burdens... I will prob feel a bit bad if you do something bad to Tsunade but I will get over it.
