I love this. Rowan is using her cunning to 'aim' the Marauders at Adric. Or something like this. I do wonder how the Basilisk will react to Rowan and maybe Severus. They're still both Heirs of Slytherin from another branch, even though Rowan is the only one who can use Parseltongue, for now. I think I remember something, maybe it was mentioned somewhere, that the Basilisk only answers to Slytherin and his bloodline. So even if Tom is still alive, she (the Basilisk) is bound by... Oath? Vow? Something, to obey anyone who is a direct descendant of Slytherin. I wonder if Rowan will tell Reginald about the Basilisk and the Chamber of Secrets. I love Sirius' reaction to Rowan's request, it is a bit out of character. I love how Peter immediately pinches him for real. Hilarious. Wonderful chapter!

Will there be a twist like her authority overpower riddle and she become the new master of basilisk?? I mean, like there's some talking otrait of Salazar that still hold on his soul in it, and the portrait nominate her as the Salazar house new lord...

Oh man, it would be hilarious if they secretly followed her or came with her towards the chamber.
